Potato chips ============ - Russet pototoes (or even red is ok), sliced into 1/8" slices, well rinsed (submerse in water, drain, repeat until clear water) and dried - Olive oil - Salt - Fresh cracked pepper - See other spice variations at end 1) Preheat oven (air fryer mode) to 350 2) Toss slice potatos with oil + spices (experiment with spraying oil + sprinkling spices on top) 3) spread on baking sheet (or cast iron grill) in single layer 4) Cook for 30 minutes until golden brown 5) Remove + dry on paper towel. Spice variations: - BBQ: 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1/4 tsp onino powder, 1/4 tsp smoked paprika, 1/8 tsp chili powder, 1/8 tsp garlic powder - Spicy: 1 tsp chili powder, 1/8 tsp cayene pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder - Sweet + spicy Thai: - zest of 1/2 lime - 1/2 tsp ground ginger - 1/2 tsp sugar - 1/4 tsp cumin - 1/4 tsp ground coriander - 1/4 tsp dried basil or dried thai basil - 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes - 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper - 1/8 tsp garlic powder - 1/8 tsp onion powder - pinch fine sea salt or kosher salt or more, to taste
